SHIFTING HORIZONS

The exhibition SHIFTING HORIZONS brings together five artists who have been guided by the stories and geographical location of Odapark, Veyray. This exhibition is made in collaboration with Desination Unknown, an organization that offers work periods to young artists in temporarily available places where artists always respond to the place where they work. On the occasion of Destination Unknown's fifth anniversary, which took place during covid, these five artists have been invited to come together and once again show a site-specific work in Odapark.

In a time when we seem to be on the hunt for a healthier, more balanced, and at the same time prosperous existence, Eva Hoonhout examines how online content such as recipe tutorials, workout videos, and self-love vlogs influence our offline lives. At the same time, she questions how everyday actions - such as cleaning your living environment - can say something about our mental health. The work made for Odapark offers a poetic and open reflection on self-care and our contemporary view on mental health.
